Dr.
Diane H. Browne has been providing therapy to individuals, couples,
and families for over 28 years. Dr. Browne is rather unique. She is a
Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapist, and Child Therapist and works
with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups. Dr. Browne is
known for her caring, non-judgmental approach, broad knowledge base,
sense of humor, and love of the Lord. She knows how to put people at
ease while helping them successfully achieve their goals. She worked
for many years with all branches and ranks of the military and was
sent the VIP clients whose privacy issues were of utmost concern. She
is sensitive to cross-cultural issues having received her doctoral
degree from the American Schools of Professional Psychology, Hawaii
campus where she treated people from many diverse cultures. She
completed the Marriage and Family Therapy program at the Georgetown
University Family Center and has specialized in marital therapy for
most of her career. Dr. Browne has received top ratings in client
satisfaction from independent managed care surveys and received
excellent reviews as a frequent speaker on divorce recovery issues
with the McLean Bible Church Single Parent Ministries in McLean, Va.
Dr. Browne provides services to
individuals of all ages, and especially enjoys helping men and women

She has led groups on overcoming
depression and anxiety and teaches relaxation using Christian imagery.
She is very sensitive to the needs of families going through divorce
or re-marriage and has helped many families through difficult
transitions. She led a Separation and Divorce Recovery Group to help
people re-build their lives and has held seminars with "Every Man's
Battle" for wives on sexual addiction. She is trained in EMDR and uses
EMDR to treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Browne had trained
in all major treatment models but her primary orientation is Cognitive
and Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy using a
Biblically-based perspective. She combines scripture with
research-based psychological approaches to help individuals develop
perspective, hope, and a step-by-step Plan of Action to correct
destructive patterns of thinking and behavior. Please call the number
